Yes, the internet is free, but only if your time is worthless!"&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm writing a novel. Much of my research has been online - it was a necessary investment of time, but I've probably done enough. Yet I still get bogged down, verifying small details as I encounter them, rather than keeping focused on the big picture.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I read your comment, and it hit me like a ton of bricks.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have been treating my time as worthless.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well, darn it all! I'm better than that - and so are all your clients and readers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You have given me one of the most concise and insightful one-liners on the value of the Internet. Free information is good, information is worth something - but too much free information becomes worthless.
