I found your site, believe it or not, through an Google image search on the Red Queen's statement about running.

And I found your comment:

I'm writing a novel. Much of my research has been online - it was a necessary investment of time, but I've probably done enough. Yet I still get bogged down, verifying small details as I encounter them, rather than keeping focused on the big picture.

I read your comment, and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I have been treating my time as worthless.

Well, darn it all! I'm better than that - and so are all your clients and readers.

You have given me one of the most concise and insightful one-liners on the value of the Internet. Free information is good, information is worth something - but too much free information becomes worthless. And that is why I think you are offering something of value.

"Yes, the internet is free, but only if your time is worthless!"

I'm printing that out and taping it inside my laptop lid.
These are words to live by.

Hi:

I started using a service called wrapmail, they have a page for Arbonne at http://www.wrapmail.com/arbonne
They give you an email address and what's cool is they also give you what they call a "wrap" that surrounds every email when it's delivered that contains my link inside and that I also personalized with my image and name/number. I send emails all the time anyway so this was a nobrainer 2 me.

I love what you have to say here. The message I got from this is the importance of relationships. I train my team to open yourself to people from all walks of life and listen to their needs. If they come to you, chances are they want to get to know you ... not your company or your products, or they are in need of something from you. There needs may be in relation to what you are selling, but go beyond that and get to know the customer, and build a level of trust to open the lines of communication and form friendships from that. New friendships can lead to the greatest rewards in life, and those friendships can lead you to others in need of your products.
